For one unforgettable week, leave behind the distractions of everyday life and immerse yourself in the beauty, culture, and landscapes of Provence, discovering one of the finest cycling regions in Europe from the best seat possible: your bike.
Ride quiet country roads through vineyards, orchards, olive groves, dramatic gorges, and historic villages. Climb through spectacular landscapes, discover hidden roads, enjoy local food, and experience the authentic rhythm of Provence. Along the way, a passionate group of riders, local knowledge, and carefully planned logistics come together to create an experience built around one goal: Ride to Discover.
Unlike organising such a trip on your own, every aspect has already been carefully planned. From flights and bike transport to accommodation, guided rides, nutrition, photography, and logistics, everything is taken care of, allowing you to forget about the organisation and simply enjoy the journey.
The Discovery Ride will take place from 08 - 15 May 2027, and will include the following:
- Discover Provence beyond the usual tourist routes.
- Ride through legendary landscapes, villages, vineyards, gorges, and mountain roads.
- Experience iconic cycling roads at your own pace.
- Eat well, sleep well, and take the time to enjoy the Provençal way of life.

Throughout the week you will discover Provence by bike, following quiet roads that connect some of the region's most beautiful landscapes and villages.
From the foothills of Mont Ventoux to the Luberon massif, each ride has been carefully designed not simply as a cycling challenge, but as a way to experience the character of Provence: its scenery, history, food, architecture, and extraordinary roads.
There will be climbs to enjoy, descents to savour, panoramic viewpoints to stop for, and plenty of moments when the right decision is simply to slow down and take it all in.
The aim is not to race from one place to another. It is to experience Provence from the saddle, with enough time to appreciate everything that makes this region special.
Most importantly, you'll become part of the Ventus community, sharing the road, the meals, the discoveries, and the unforgettable moments that make experiences like these so special.
Professional Coaching & Guide
Coach Nicolas Collinet will lead the group on the roads of Provence, ensuring every ride runs safely and smoothly while sharing his extensive local knowledge.
With his experience of the region and expertise in cycling, Nicolas will help you discover the roads and places that make Provence such a unique destination for cyclists, taking the group beyond the obvious routes and into the heart of the landscape.
The Location
Pernes-les-Fontaines · Provence
Pernes-les-Fontaines is a classic Provençal town. Quiet. Historic. Authentic.
Located between Mont Ventoux and the Luberon massif, it is the perfect base from which to explore some of the most beautiful corners of Provence by bike.
This is a region where cycling and everyday life naturally come together. Small roads wind between vineyards, orchards, and olive groves. Hilltop villages appear around every bend. Markets, cafés, old stone houses, and dramatic mountain landscapes create the backdrop for the week.

Accommodation
Hôtel L’Hermitage
You’ll stay at Hôtel L’Hermitage, a high-end Provençal hotel designed for calm, comfort, and relaxation.
After a day spent exploring the region, the hotel provides the perfect place to slow down, enjoy the surroundings, and recharge for the following day's adventure.

Every participant will receive an exclusive Ventus Discovery Camp jersey, created exclusively for this event.

This design will be produced exclusively for camp participants and will not be available for retail sale.

Camp-Only Package (with flight tickets)
For riders who prefer to arrange their own flights and transportation, a camp-only option is also available. These rates exclude return flights and the Marseille Airport ↔ Pernes-les-Fontaines transfer service, while all other services included in the respective training camp package remain unchanged.
Regular Registration
€1,500
This option is ideal for participants travelling from countries other than Cyprus, extending their stay in France, or simply preferring to manage their own travel arrangements.
Limited Places
To preserve the intimate atmosphere of the experience and ensure a high level of support throughout the week, places are strictly limited.
A minimum of 9 confirmed participants is required for the camp to take place.
Once the group is complete, registrations will close.

Required Level
The camp is suitable for riders with an estimated functional threshold power of approximately 2–3 W/kg.
You should be comfortable riding for several hours and climbing sustained gradients, while being able to ride as part of a group.
The objective is not to race or compete. The level requirement is simply there to ensure that everyone can enjoy the routes, the climbs, and the experience together.
You don't need to be preparing for a major event. Whether you're an experienced cyclist or simply someone who loves discovering new places by bike, this week is about enjoying the journey.
There will be climbs to remember and roads that will challenge you, but the reward is much bigger than reaching the summit. It's the village you discover along the way, the landscape opening up around a bend, the coffee stop in a small Provençal square, the shared meal at the end of the day, and the stories you'll take home with you.
