Ventus Sponsors the 0-2000 Cycling Challenge 2025: Conquer the Troodos Mountains

The prestigious event will take place on June 14-15, 2025, in the stunning Troodos Mountains, offering cyclists the ultimate challenge of reaching the summit of Olympus Peak, nearly 2000 meters above sea level.

The 0-2000 Cycling Challenge is renowned for its grueling climbs, dramatic landscapes, and fierce competition. Participants will face a total elevation gain of 2400 meters over two days of racing, pushing the limits of even the most seasoned cyclists. This iconic event promises to be a weekend full of endurance, excitement, and personal achievement, attracting riders from all corners of the globe.

The Challenge: Push Your Limits

The challenge begins on Day 1, where cyclists will race through the scenic and rugged roads of Troodos, with the goal of qualifying for the Individual Time Trial (ITT) on Day 2. The Road Race, starting from Kalopanagiotis and finishing at Olympus, will also take place on Day 1, offering a spectacular, yet demanding, ride that tests strength, speed, and determination.

Day 2 will feature two races: the Individual Time Trial (ITT) and the Road Race. Only the top three riders in each age group from Day 1 will qualify for the ITT, which will culminate in a final showdown for the coveted KOM (King of the Mountain) and QOM (Queen of the Mountain) Jerseys. The remaining riders will compete in the Road Race, enjoying the same epic views and challenging climbs, but with a different competition format.

A New Concept: The General Classification

This year, the General Classification (GC) will see an exciting new twist. The top riders from both the ITT and Road Race will compete for the podium positions, with trophies awarded to the ITT winners in the General Classification. The top three riders from the Road Race will also receive medals in recognition of their achievements.
