Ventoux Training Camp Experience

1–8 June 2026 | Provence, France

This is not a sightseeing trip with bikes. It’s a structured training camp organized by Ventus and the cycling coach Nicolas Collinet, in one of the most legendary cycling regions in the world, based at the foot of Mont Ventoux.

The Location

Pernes-les-Fontaines · Provence

Pernes-les-Fontaines is a classic Provençal town. Quiet. Historic. Authentic. It sits perfectly between Mont Ventoux and the Luberon massif, giving direct access to some of the best cycling roads in France.

Training Program Overview

This is a week-long progression, not random riding.

Day 1 – Arrival & transfer to the heart of Provence

Arrival at Marseille Airport. A private shuttle for riders and a van for bike boxes will be waiting to transfer us to our hotel, Demeures & Châteaux – L’Hermitage, in Nicolas’ hometown (≈ 20 km from the foot of Mont Ventoux). The transfer takes about 1 hour.Build your bike, relax and enjoy the evening.

Day 2 – Warm-up ride: Col de Murs & Gordes (79 km, 1214 m elevation)

A gentle first day to loosen the legs, riding toward Col de Murs with a coffee stop in the hilltop village of Gordes. Rolling roads and great views.

Day 3 – Gorges de la Nesque & lavender fields (103 km, 1233 m elevation)

One of the region’s most beautiful rides through the Gorges de la Nesque. Lunch near the lavender fields around Sault, then descent via Méthamis. Pure Provençal scenery.

Day 4 – The Giant of Provence: Mont Ventoux via Bédoin (92 km, 2034 m elevation)

The big day: climb the legendary Mont Ventoux from Bédoin — ~21 km at ~7.5% average gradient. Descend to Malaucène for lunch before returning to the hotel. A classic every rider dreams of.

Day 5 – Recovery ride & Provençal experience (40 km, 477 m elevation)

A lighter day: a 40 km morning spin to loosen the legs. Afternoon: vintage Citroën 2CV tour through Provençal villages with lunch in Fontaine-de-Vaucluse. Relaxed pace and local discovery.

Day 6 – Exploring the Luberon (111 km, 1936 m elevation)

A longer day exploring the Luberon massif quiet roads, charming villages and rolling climbs. A change of scenery from Ventoux.

Day 7 – Ventoux loop & farewell ride ( 124 km — 1960 m elevation)

Final celebratory ride: the classic Tour du Ventoux loop. We’ll stop for lunch in the beautiful village of Montbrun-les-Bains before finishing our last kilometers together.

Day 8 – Last breakfast & departure

Relaxed breakfast together, final goodbyes, then transfer to the airport.

Distances range from recovery spins to long mountain days. GPX routes are pre-planned and proven.

Exclusive Ventus Training Camp Jersey

As part of the Mont Ventoux Training Camp experience, all participants will receive a dedicated Ventus cycling jersey, designed exclusively for this camp in special Mont Ventoux Training Camp colors.

The jersey will be worn during the half-day professional photo and video session, ensuring a unified, high-end visual identity across all content. Beyond the shoot, it becomes a functional performance piece and a lasting reminder of the week spent training on some of the most iconic roads in cycling.

This is a preliminary design mock-up. The final Mont Ventoux Training Camp jersey will be revealed in its completed form soon.
