Nicole Andreou completes the Double Ironman Challenge in support of the Joanna Sophia Foundation

An extraordinary story of endurance, heart, and purpose unfolded this weekend as Nicole Andreou completed the Double Ironman Challenge in support of the Joanna Sophia Foundation, a feat that captured the spirit of perseverance and love that defines the endurance community.

Nicole started her journey at 11:00 p.m. on Friday night, Nicole dove into the cold waters of a 25 meter pool in Paphos, to begin an effort few can even imagine. Just for the record:

  • 7.8 km swim completed in 3 hours and 18 minutes
  • 360 km of cycling completed in 13 hours and 58 minutes
  • 84 km of running completed in 15 hours and 26 minutes

After nearly 32 continuous hours of racing, Nicole crossed her symbolic finish line by joining the 5 km Walk of Love organized by the Joanna Sophia Foundation on Sunday morning at Paphos Castle, surrounded by supporters, volunteers, and the warm energy of the community.

More than a race, this was a journey of purpose, connecting athletic endurance with a deeper cause: to raise awareness and support for the Foundation’s mission of offering love and strength to children and families facing health challenges.

Ventus, proud supporter of this effort, celebrates Nicole’s determination, humility, and emotional strength throughout this incredible challenge. Her performance embodies what Ventus stands for "Riding and Living With Purpose" proving that when the heart leads, there are no limits.

“Every kilometer was for love,” Nicole shared at the finish line. “Love for life, love for those who fight every day, love that gives meaning to every effort.”

Her Double Ironman Challenge was not just a personal victory, it was a message of resilience, solidarity, and hope.

Congratulations, Nicole. You didn’t just finish a race, you inspired everyone.
